How does Cancellation Plus work? When a guest adds Cancellation Plus to their booking, they can cancel up to 72 hours before the booking date and receive a full refund. If a cancellation occurs less than 72 hours before check-in, the booking becomes non-refundable. How is this different from standard cancellation rules? Without Cancellation Plus, standard rules apply: 14+ days before booking → Full refund 7–14 days before booking → Partial refund Less than 7 days before booking → Non-refundable Cancellation Plus extends flexibility by allowing a full refund closer to the booking date. Who receives the Cancellation Plus fee? This depends on when the cancellation happens: If the guest cancels more than 14 days before the booking, the Cancellation Plus fee is paid to the host as compensation. If the guest cancels within 14 days of the booking, the host is already protected by the cancellation rules, and the Cancellation Plus fee is retained by Prebookd. Does Cancellation Plus guarantee a refund? No. Cancellation Plus provides flexibility within a specific timeframe. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before check-in are non-refundable.
